GIG DUMP: Pasadena

10-4 Gig in sweltering heats. Most sketches done in about 2 minutes, only in white and black, tho. This was a great gig, with really nice guests, but... man it was hot.

I think I hit my stride on the the next two sketches. Did I mention that it was hotter than a couple of hells? Makes it hard to concentrate.

Towards the end, I was really pushing for humor. The last one is my favorite. It definitely got the most laughs from both those watching and the subject.

PSC DEBUT

This is a "double post". Tyson Taumotomoekakayamaoe has created Legoland's answer to the SeaWorld Beastheads, only with a even more retarded name: Purgatory Sketch Club. PSC is a M-E-G-A B.L.O.G for all the artists at Legoland to post our stuff.

I'm going to link to both park blogs, so check it all out. My intention is to post DIFFERENT artwork to each blog, but I'll probably be cross-posting a bit, since I'm so busy. Practically everyone in my links section is either a SeaWorld or Legoland artist, so check out their stuf.

By the way, this is a sketch of Matt, a security guard at LL. This guy is the definitive of cool. Seriously.

Marko surprise!

Here's one of my buddy, Marko.

This is my first caricature to make extensive use of colored marker, and I know it shows. I'll experiment more with it on my next update. Thing is, lately I feel the urge to break away from my "safe zone" and take some chances. I was inspired by Kapnicky's recent posts that use colored markers (plus X-tREme exaggeration!!!1).
